The first 4 days are the identical curriculum used in our 4-Day Cruising or 6-Day Bareboat Cruising Classes.  On days 5-7 we will leave Port aboard our 50’ Beneteau and put to practical  use what was previously taught, and continue learning while Offshore Cruising! You will receive a much higher level of Sailing Instruction at Florida Key Sailing…compared to “Bareboat Classes” offered at other Sailing Schools!   We’ll teach you how to confidently Cruise our 50’ sailboat… 10 miles or more Offshore! You’ll enjoy 7-Days and 7-Nights… Living Aboard our beautiful 50’ Offshore Cruising Sailboat…“Sayonara”. Students are taught Basic Sailing & Cruising Skills aboard smaller sailboats for the first 4 days. The 3-Day Offshore Cruise completes your 7-Day Course!   “Sayonara” is exactly like a boat you would Bareboat Charter in the Caribbean.   It has 4 double staterooms, each with a private hot shower and head.  It has wonderful amenities and plenty of room inside or on deck to stretch out and enjoy your Sailing Adventure!  In addition to all the skills required for Bareboat Cruising Certification, we’ll teach you how to Cruise Offshore and Sail at Night!  While aboard “Sayonara” you will really go Offshore Cruising!  Your sailing skills will become very good and you will get very proficient in using a GPS Plotter & NOAA Charts.  You will perfect your yachting skills of Navigation, Docking, Anchoring and Sailing at Night as we Cruise Offshore along South Florida’s Coast; the Florida Keys and visit the Historic City of Key West! Offshore Cruising in the Bahamas, the BVI, the Chesapeake Bay, or on the  Great Lakes will be easy using what you’ll learn in our 7-Day Offshore Cruising Class! No other Sailing School offers this Sailing Course Outline! - Tuition Includes - 3 - Sailing Certifications Basic Keelboat, Basic Coastal Cruising & Bareboat Cruising or ASA 101, 103 & 104 All fuel, water, ice, linens & towels are included as well.
